‘where am I? oww I hurt all over. What happened? How did this happen?’ I thought as I slowly opened my eyes. My vision was bleary so I blink rapidly trying to adjust to the light. Everywhere I looked there were dead animals. Mainly wolves. I shut my eyes quickly.
‘why am I here?? Where is my pack! I have to get out of here. I have to move.’ Slowly I re-opened my eyes. I didn’t want to have to look at the animals on the walls around me so I focused on the ground never lifting my gaze. One foot at the time I began to get up. Each one hurting until it was unbearable

The snow fell quickly to the ground. My wolf pack ran as fast as possible through the woods. Not bothering to be quiet. The pounding of helicopter blades was growing closer over head. The pack ran faster through the woods, bringing them closer to the edge of the forest.
